 Swansea Bay 10K , 27th September 2009
A group of runners for the foundation joined 4500 others for the annual Swansea 10K run which was held on Sunday 27th September 2009 and a total of £300 was raised.Runners pushed themselves to the limit in aid of the foundation and enjoyed beautiful scenery as they did so with views of Swansea Bay and the Mumbles. A team of runners will be running the Swansea 10K at the end of September 2010 in aid of the foundation- dates to be confirmed so please get involved! Following the run, an after party was held at the Rhydings Public House, Swansea. The jam packed evening involved a magician, a beat boxer, two bands and two comedians and the pub was stacked out. The total raised for the event was £220. This will be an annual event and another fun packed evening will be held at the end of September 2010.
