MORO Half Marathon

Ria Edmonds went to Swansea University with Emily and is currently living in New Zealand. 

Ria, Pete and Damien recently completed a half marathon to raise money for the Foundation. The times were impressive- Damien coming in in 2hrs 1 min, Ria in 2 hrs 11 min and Pete in 2hrs 14 min's!

Ria said " It was a ridiculously hot day at 23 degrees - crazy since its just spring. There route was really good but the hills were a bit larger and more frequent than expected!

We have collected about $500 over her from bugging the locals for sponsorship and also cake sales! I even targeted all the drunk people who had the munchies after mid night to sell the last few packets of cakes! It
worked a treat though!"

We would like to thank Ria, Pete and Damian for this very impressive effort - they raised approx. £343.00, or $NZ 943 for the Foundation!
