Fundraising
There are several ways of raising funds for the Foundation that are easy and fun:
- If you do any shopping 'on-line' please start to use the Easyfundraising Web site. This web site provides a 'free' way of raising funds for the Foundation, for those of you that shop 'on-line'. By registering on www.easyfundraising.org.uk you can then shop at over 500 stores, from Tesco shopping through to Airline tickets! But every time you buy, the store will give a % to the Foundation at no extra cost to you! The Emily Jordan Foundation is already registered - so you can start using this immediately to raise money! - Go to www.easysearch.org.uk and use easysearch as your homepage and search engine. This is a great, free and easy way to create funds for the Foundation. To do this click on the tab 'make easysearch your homepage?' and select the Foundation as your required charity. This is such a simple way to keep funds coming in, so please spread the word!! If anyone needs any help with setting this up please don't hesitate to contact us.
- Organise an Event. There are lots of things happening at the moment, but please feel free to organise an event in your area! Please contact us if you would like any publicity for this - on the website or on Facebook. As you will see from the Merchandise page there are T shirts, Polo shirts and Hoodies to maximise publicity for any event.
- Sponsor an existing event. There are a individuals who are already set up to do 'daft' things for the Foundation. You can take the 'easy route' and just sponsor them for a few pounds, just go to their events page
Donations
We are looking for donations to the Foundation to achieve its aims of helping individuals with learning difficulties to live a productive and rewarding life. How can you help with this:
- You can set up a Standing Order equivalent to 4 pints of beer or wine per month. This will help the Foundation with a regular income, and help your figure at the same time! Gift Aid is applicable to this, increasing the donation by 28%. Please email info@themilyjordanfoundation.org.uk if you would like us to send you a form for this.
- Make a donation using the form below. Please note that as The Foundation is a Charity, if you are a tax payer it is important that you fill in a Gift Aid form that you can print out - see below. This is worth 28% to the Charity!
