It happened and was completed!

The ride stared on the 1st June as planned, from Lands End on a glorious summers day.

The initial starters, Jonny Armour, Chris Gibbs, Alex Jordan,Chris Jordan, Ian Plumley and Tom Westley were supported by Richard Gibbs, Rob Walker and Stuart Armour.

The first few days were spent cycling up a very busy A30, then the A38 into Bristol. Pics below:

We then entered Tavistock, were Anne Jefferies had organised a tour of the town for us!

More happy days on the road:

To finish up in Bristol:

Where we met Tom Clutton Brock and Keith Webb, who joined us on the route up to Kidderminster:

A very wet day through Worcester into Kidderminster, but made a lot more fun by all the people who came out to join the fund raising:

Then the next 2/3 of the journey begins! From Kidderminster north, it was Aidan Kidson for the first day, Chris Jordan, Jonny Armour, VB Modgil, Alex Jordan and Paul Gray:

Getting further north, with a full van:

The Lake District was tough going:

Entering Scotland:

And over the Erskine Bridge in Glasgow:

Castles in Scotland!

And lots of food needed for the 5000 calorie a day burn off!

Jonny getting close to................!

Ben Nevis in the background:

Becoming more Scottish by the minute:

Wet days on the East Coast of Scotland:

In Wick, nearly there!
